Wright Brothers First Powered Flight
December 17, 1903 - Orville and Wilbur Wright make the first powered flight 20 feet above a beach in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The Wright brothers began experimenting with powered flight in 1896 and achieved flight seven years later. Their work paved the way for advancements and innovation in aviation. Incidentally, the Wright brothers were interviewed multiple times before Kitty Hawk, but only one paper covered their historic flight.
