FBI and DOJ Announces Take Down of Major Cyberthreat
In a recent announcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) claimed success in an international collaboration to take down the infrastructure for the malware and botnet known as Qakbot. This operation, which unfolded across multiple nations including the U.S., France, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Latvia, and the United Kingdom, represents a major stride in countering cyber threats.

According to the 2023 Gartner CIO and Technology Executive Survey, prior to the emergence of ChatGPT, approximately one-third of CIOs had already implemented AI technologies, with 15% more planning to do so within a year.
With each step up the career ladder, new leadership roles bring a fresh set of obligations. The pinnacle position is no exception. Emerging tech leaders, recognizing the complexity of the CIO path, are looking towards those who have already navigated these waters.
Engagement in the U.S. workforce is ticking up overall, with the percentage of engaged employees sitting at 34% in mid-2023. While this shows a positive improvement from the rate of 32% just a year ago, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
