Federal Bureau of Investigation Appoints Industry Veteran and CISO Jamil Farshchi to Strategic Engagement Advisor Role

Equifax's CISO will expand his role as the organization's partnership with the FBI deepens. Farshchi, who joined Equifax in 2018, brings years of private and public sector experience to this position, including tenures at The Home Depot, Visa, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and NASA. Equifax and the FBI's partnership to bring awareness to data security stretches back to before the 2017 breach of Equifax records by Chinese hackers.
