First Internet Radio Simulcast

November 7, 1994 - WXYC, a college radio station at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill became the first radio station in the world to broadcast its signal over the Internet. The broadcast was run by disc jockey Michael Shoffner and still runs to this day.
