Apple Introduces the New iPhone 3G

June 9th, 2008 – A year after the original Apple iPhone went on sale, the company rolled out its successor, the iPhone 3G. Apple combined the revolutionary features of the iPhone with 3G networking, touted as being twice as fast as the original model. It also came with built-in GPS for expanded location-based mobile services, offering more storage, and a lower price point.
