First Version of Java Released
February 6th, 1985 - Co-founder Steve Wozniak left Apple computer in 1985, just a decade after he co-founded the company with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne. The Woz created was the mastermind behind the Apple II, the 8-bit home computer that launched apple into the lead among personal computer makers at the time. Wozniak returned to Apple in a short-lived advisory role in 1997.
