🐭 Disney Hacked via Slack!
Happy Saturday! 🏌🏽♂️ Wow, what a week it’s been. Between what might end up becoming the largest IT outage in history, and several major organizations dealing with the fallout from breaches and cyberattacks, we’ve got some news for you this week. 🚨
Advance Auto Parts 🚗 confirmed their updated victim total from the breach they suffered earlier this year. Meanwhile, a hacker claimed to have stolen over a terabyte of Disney’s internal slack messages, including details about login credentials, and unreleased projects 🎬.
UnitedHealth 🩺, who suffered a massive data breach last February, presented their updated projected total cost from the attack, which is turning out to be much more expensive than initially anticipated. We also take a look at the SEC’s case against SolarWinds, and why a U.S District judge dismissed most of its charges against the company.
